All financial consultations are done over the phone, mail or e-mail. Additionally, Making Life Easier has a network of approved providers of child and adult elder care in which they refer employees.
Is MLE confidential, and will my supervisor know if I have used it?
Home and life-related stress and concerns: What you discuss with your MLE representative is confidential unless you make him or her aware you are at risk of harming yourself or someone else.
Work-related issues: King County employees can contact MLE or King County’s EAS office at DHREAS@kingcounty.gov or 206-263-8733 for assistance.

Do I have to use my sick or vacation time to use MLE?
Home and life-related issues: Employees using MLE services should do so on their own time.
For work-related issues: To attend a work-related appointment with the MLE, work time may be used. Managers are encouraged to permit their staff to attend if possible while ensuring normal operations are maintained.
