Carnation Wastemobile event cancelled

Two workers sort hazardous waste at a Wastemobile event.

The Carnation Wastemobile event originally scheduled for August 22–24 has been cancelled. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may cause residents who were planning to attend.

The Wastemobile is a mobile service that rotates throughout King County, and from time to time scheduling changes are necessary due to site logistics and operational constraints. We have to cancel our collection event planned this coming weekend (Aug. 22-24) in Carnation/Duvall. We are exploring options to bring the Wastemobile back to the Carnation/Duvall area at a future date and will update our website and social media channels if a new date is confirmed.

In the meantime, please consider using one of our other upcoming Wastemobile events this fall:

  • Bothell/Woodinville Wastemobile: Sept. 5–7 & Oct. 24–26
  • Redmond Wastemobile: Oct. 10–12
  • You can also visit one of our permanent hazardous waste disposal facilities, such as the year-round location in Factoria, for safe and convenient disposal.

We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work to continue providing accessible, safe, and reliable hazardous waste collection services to all King County communities.
