Wastemobile

Information about the mobile hazardous waste disposal service in King County.

2025 Wastemobile schedule

The Wastemobile operates from February through October each year. Please check back soon for the 2025 schedule

Disposal at the Wastemobile is available on the dates listed from 10 am to 5 pm.

There is no fee for hazardous waste disposal. Marine flares are not accepted at the traveling Wastemobile.

Hazardous wastes accepted at the Wastemobile

  • Limit 50 gallons per residential customer per day.
  • Limit 25 gallons per business customer per day.
  • No containers larger than 5 gallons.
  • For larger quantities or unusual waste, call us at 206-296-4692.

Safety tips for transporting your hazardous waste

Don't mix or combine products

Keep products in their original containers whenever possible.

Label products that are not marked.

Secure products so they won't tip or leak.

Cover and tie down your load. Please stay in your vehicle while unloading at the Auburn Wastemobile or traveling Wastemobile.

Don't transport products in the passenger compartment of your vehicle.
