Earth Deserves More than a Day - Sweet Home Poetics Workshop

As part of the week-long Earth Deserves More Than a Day celebration (April 21–26), the Hazardous Waste Management Program is proud to host Sweet Home Poetics, a creative workshop that connects cultural memory, family traditions, and safer home choices.

Through guided poetry, participants will reflect on the “scent of clean” from childhood—remembering familiar products and rituals—and explore how switching to safer, less-toxic alternatives can still preserve what matters most: comfort, care, and connection.
