Board of Ethics

Regular meetings of the Board of Ethics are held quarterly. The board is authorized by King County Code to implement forms, administrative processes, and operational procedures necessary to comply with the provisions of the Code of Ethics. The Board of Ethics determined that procedures governing the conduct of meetings of the board are necessary and in the public interest.

Proposed agenda

  1. Final proposed Exhibit and Witness Lists. Any exhibits not objected to shall be deemed admitted. Any objections shall be noted in writing and stating the basis therefore no later than 4:30 p.m. October 3, 2025.
  2. Status of the Bill of Particulars regarding the specific alleged Ethics Code violations the County intends to prove and evidence in support thereof.
  3. In Counsel's examinations of the witnesses, be mindful that, if all goes exactly as planned, we will have eleven and a half hours to present all of the testimony in this case.
    • Schedule for each day: 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. with 15 minutes break; 2:30 - 4:30 p.m.
  4. Because the hearing will be conducted via Zoom, counsel should coordinate with Mr. Barrington in advance regarding use of exhibits with the witnesses.
