NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Proposed Ordinance 2024-0163

            NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Notice of Intention has been filed with the King County Council relating to the annexation of approximately 0.49 acres of land into the Covington Water District, known as the Schneider Annexation, for the purpose of water service.  A public hearing before the Metropolitan King County Council will be held at the King County Courthouse, 516 3rd Avenue Room 1001, on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at 1:30 p.m.; remote public testimony on Zoom will be accepted.  Information on the public hearing and how to submit public testimony can be found at this website:  https://www.kingcounty.gov/council/committees/full_council.aspx.

            A description of the proposed area to be annexed is as follows:

THE EAST 130 FEET OF THE NORTH 165 FEET OF THE SOUTH

330 FEET OF WEST HALF OF WEST HALF OF NORTHWEST

QUARTER OF NORTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 20,

TOWNSHIP 22 NORTH, RANGE 6 EAST, W.M., IN KING

COUNTY, WASHINGTON.
