Our reduced, $49 monthly individual Vanpool fare—offered to eligible riders who live or work in King County and meet income-based qualifications—is a special value you don't want to miss. Join an existing Metro Vanpool or apply to be a volunteer driver and form your new Metro Vanpool with only two other commuters to start!

Do you qualify for the reduced fare pilot?
- You must live or work in King County and make $25 or less per hour.
- This special reduced vanpool fare is available to qualified commuters for one year or while funding lasts.
- Participants need to sign up before December 31, 2024 to take full advantage of this great deal for an entire year!
- Please note, you may be asked to provide income information more than once.

If you make above the income limits for our reduced $49 pilot fare, you can still start or join a vanpool for a low monthly fare; area employers also offer vanpool fare subsidies; ask your HR team.
