Launched under King County Executive Zahilay’s leadership, YouthWorks was created to:
- Expand opportunities for young people to pursue well-paid, meaningful careers
- Increase access to County government and professional networks
- Strengthen prevention efforts and improving access to services and employment
- Ensure youth most affected by systemic inequities receive effective support
- Bring all youth opportunities across King County into one place, making it easier for young people to find and access programs that match their goals
