NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

PROPOSED ORDINANCES 2022-0301

 

This public hearing notice is posted by the King County Council as required in RCW chapter 36.96. The notice will be posted July 30, 2024 through August 20, 2024.   If you have any questions, please contact tom.goff@kingcounty.gov.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that a public hearing will be held before the Metropolitan King County Council on the 20th day of August, 2024, at 1:30 p.m. to consider adoption of Proposed Ordinance: 2022-0301, which will determine whether Shoreline Park and Recreation District is inactive and whether it should be dissolved.  A public hearing is planned for this proposed ordinance to be held at the King County Courthouse, 516 3rd Ave, Room 1001, Seattle, Washington. Remote public testimony on Zoom will also be accepted. Information on the public hearing and how to submit public testimony can be found at this website: https://kingcounty.gov/council/committees/full_council.aspx. The full Council may take final action on this proposed ordinance at the August 20, 2024, meeting following the public hearing.

SUMMARY:

Proposed Ordinance 2022-0301 if adopted will:

  • Make a finding that Shoreline Park and Recreation District is inactive
  • Dissolve Shoreline Park and Recreation District
