Metro-Sound Transit careers
Sound Transit and Metro collectively provide transit services spanning Pierce, King, and Snohomish counties in the Puget Sound region. While Metro operates the bus system within these areas, Sound Transit oversees the Light Rail system. Both agencies maintain all properties owned under their jurisdiction, including bus stops, maintenance facilities, platforms, rails, and buildings.

- Demonstrate the ability to utilize de-escalation skills.
- Understand Understanding the importance of inter-agency communications, with various community, city, and County organizations.
- Show a willingness to address transit concerns, while working collaboratively with various units within the Sound Transit Police and the King County Sheriff’s Office.
