Find a Childhood Vaccine Program provider near you
In Washington state, all children ages 0 to 18 can receive all routinely recommended vaccines at no cost from a healthcare provider that participates in the Childhood Vaccine Program (CVP). You may be charged an administration fee (a charge for delivering the vaccine), but you don’t have to pay if you can’t afford it. There are about 300 CVP providers in King County, and most require that a child becomes a patient in order to get services.
How vaccines work
Vaccinations are one of the greatest medical success stories in human history. They have saved millions of lives and prevented illness and lifelong disability for millions more. Even though some of these diseases we vaccinate against are rare in the United States, they may be common in other parts of the world. That means they’re just a plane ride away.
Vaccination is the single most important way you can protect the people in your life from serious disease and gift them a healthy future.
