The Livestock Program implements the Livestock Management Ordinance. The Ordinance (King County Code 21A.30) sets rules about keeping livestock in a way that reduces impacts on the environment. The Livestock Program offers funding for high priority Best Management Practices. These practices include manure storage, stream and wetland buffer fencing and livestock confinement areas.
