Board for Developmental Disabilities
The Board for Developmental Disabilities is a 9 to 15-member citizen advisory board who provides input on services and supports for people with developmental disabilities and delays, and their families. The role of the Board is defined in Revised Code of Washington 71A.14.020, County Developmental Disabilities Boards - Composition-Expenses. Board members include self-advocates, family members, professionals and interested citizens. Members share an interest in improving services and quality of life for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD).

Joe Cunningham, Council District 1, Term expires 9/30/2026
Mr. Cunningham has extensive professional and volunteer experience advocating for the needs of people with disabilities. Joe has been a member of several boards and commissions focusing on meeting the needs of children and families. Laura Musso Escude, Council District 1, Term expires 9/30/2027
Ms. Escude is an WSDOT Engineer who advocates for her daughter and has benefited from family support services to navigate developmental disabilities resources and services. She wants to give back to the Hispanic community through outreach and advocacy for change. Contact: DevDis4@kingcounty.gov

Ms. McCoy brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication with many years of healthcare experience, navigating the developmental disabilities system, and she is excited to give back to the community for continued improvement.

Ms. Morgan is a certified Behavior Technician with a mission to cultivate a culture of inclusivity to help people with developmental disabilities feel connected and engaged with the community.
CeCe Stovall, Council District 9, Term expires 9/30/2026

Washington Relay 711: A person with a hearing loss or speech disability with specialized telecommunication equipment or a person using a standard phone may initiate a call through Washington Relay. Dial 711 to connect with a Communication Assistant, who will dial the requested number and relay the conversation between the two callers.
