The Tax Advisor Office is a division of the King County Office of the Ombuds. The Tax Advisor Office is independent of the County Assessor’s Office and the Board of Equalization in accordance with state law (RCW 84.48.140).

Our office provides King County taxpayers with advice and assistance on property tax-related matters, specializing in appeals. In addition, we can help you navigate real property assessments, exemptions, property taxes, and property records.
