Decommissioning a water source

Water systems that are not used must be decommissioned by a licensed professional. King County may require properties with unused water systems to be decommissioned when reviewing applications for things like on-site sewage system and building permits. Unused water systems must be decommissioned by a licensed well driller and the well decommissioning is processed by the WA State Dept. of Ecology.
