Healthcare for the Homeless Network provides health care services to people experiencing homelessness in King County and leadership to help change the conditions that deprive our neighbors of home and health.

Health care services and resources for people living homeless

Teams of clinical service providers are situated at a variety of sites throughout King County. The teams use a trauma-informed approach in providing services. They are skilled at meeting the person who is homeless "where they are", and build trusting relationships with them.

Mobile medical care

This program provides walk-in care for people who are living homeless (or were recently homeless) only. Clinic dates and times are updated monthly. Anyone experiencing homelessness in need of care can walk up to the program's medical van. The program does not charge a fee and does not require insurance. No appointment is necessary.

COVID-19 resources for homeless service providers

The Healthcare for the Homeless Network continues to support homeless service providers with tools and guidance for addressing COVID-19 at homeless service sites.

Public Health nurses offer staff training, health education, and consultation to shelters, day centers, transitional housing programs, and other homeless-serving programs in King County.

Health Care for the Homeless' Health Engagement Action Resource Team (HEART) provides person-centered services that are equitable and racially just through a harm-reduction, trauma-informed lens.

Our mission to ensure people who are unsheltered in King County have access to the health care they deserve, on their terms. We provide person centered services that are equitable and racially just through a harm reduction, trauma informed lens.
