Trainings and exercises
Washington State Homeland Security Region 6 is defined as the geographical boundaries of King County. Region 6 receives funds to address local terrorism planning, mitigation, response, and recovery issues through the U.S. Department of Homeland Security via Washington state. An element of this grant funding is dedicated to the training and exercising of local responders. King County Emergency Management, the local Homeland Security grant managing agency, is tasked with the equitable and appropriate distribution of these funds.
Emergency Management Professionals webinar series
In our webinar series, we share practical strategies, techniques, and procedures for dealing with issues or incidents that may arise during emergencies or disasters. This webinar series will cover a wide variety of issues related to emergency management. These will help our King County partners and partners organizations.
