Constantine to kick off tour of King County communities with visit to cities in Snoqualmie Valley

In line with an inaugural commitment to partner with King County's regional and rural communities, King County Executive Dow Constantine is embarking on a tour of cities and towns with a first stop next week in the Snoqualmie Valley.

Executive Constantine will kick off the tour Feb. 17 with stops in Duvall, Carnation, North Bend and Snoqualmie, visiting with residents, mayors, local elected officials, and newspaper editorial staffs.

"For too long King County government has talked too much, and not listened enough. That's going to change," said Executive Constantine. "My administration will represent all of King County: urban, suburban and rural. I'm looking forward to meeting with community leaders and residents to better understand their needs and expectations, and how we as partners can make this a better region in which to live."

On Feb. 17, Executive Constantine's schedule will include visits to:

• Duvall: 12:30 - 2 p.m
• Carnation: 2:15 - 3:15 p.m.
• North Bend: 3:45 - 4:45 p.m.
• Snoqualmie: 5 - 6:30 p.m.

The Executive will end the day with a speech to the Snoqualmie Valley Governments Association. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at the Snoqualmie Ridge TPC Clubhouse, 36005 S.E. Ridge St., Snoqualmie.

The Executive will continue his schedule with visits that are tentatively scheduled to Issaquah on Feb. 19 and Shoreline and Lake Forest Park on Feb. 26, with many other dates to follow.
