King County Executive Dow Constantine today appointed Dylan Ordoñez as coordinator of his Executive Leadership Team, which monitors the day-to-day operations of County government, anticipates needs, and addresses emergent issues.“Dylan will have a seat at the table to assist our team in the daily management of County government, and I’m pleased to have him on board in this expanded role,” said Executive Constantine. “He will help keep us on track and on target.”
As Leadership Team Coordinator, Ordoñez will oversee the management disciplines and process for senior management in the County Executive’s office. He will coordinate the team’s agenda and ensure the proper follow-through.
Ordoñez will continue in his role of managing the Executive’s external relations with the labor community and other key stakeholders, as well as his external relations work in the Executive’s Customer Service office.
Ordoñez is a native of the Willamette Valley region of Oregon and a graduate of Willamette University. He served as a policy advisor in the Oregon State Legislature in both the House and Senate, and helped coordinate the 2009 Homeless Needs Assessment for Seattle Mayor Greg Nickels.
