Performance and Strategy
The Performance and Strategy (PS) section helps King County deliver on its True North by leading enterprise performance management and guiding strategy development to deliver equitable, efficient, and effective results to the community.
What we do
The PS section is a key partner in improving enterprise management practices to become a "best-run government." The team supports major elements of King County’s management system, including:
- Enterprise planning
- Enterprise monitoring processes
- Performance measurement and management
- Management system improvements (data and equity integration)
- Enterprise deployment coordination
- Public performance reporting
Performance and Strategy analysts work with King County departments and agencies as internal consultants to help them develop, design, or improve their key management tools. Team members also provide project management to advance critical projects sponsored by the Executive’s leadership team such as equity and social justice goals and employee engagement.
