How to earn rewards

  • STEP 1 - Download and link accounts

Download the Lime, Bird and Transit GO Ticket apps and create accounts. Then connect all accounts.

  • STEP 2 - Earn points

    • Bike or scoot to transit. Remember, your trip must last at least 15 minutes or a minimum of a quarter mile.
    • Park at the preferred parking spots, as shown in the app, and end your trip on the app.
  • STEP 3 - Redeem your points

    1. You will receive a Bird or Lime notification. Next, open up the Transit GO Ticket app and check your rewards balance. You should have received 300 points for parking correctly. Redeem your points for a free-transit trip worth $3. Must be used within 24-hours.
    2. Activate your transit ticket (for a King County Metro bus, Sound Transit bus or Link light rail) within 24 hours. You will receive 700 points which can then be redeemed for $7 off a future bike or scooter rental. To redeem these points, input the code into your Lime or Bird app.

Please reference the interactive map below to see which transit locations are participating

In previous years, the Bike and Scoot to Transit program has supported connections to Link light rail where bike and scooter were available. As transit service continues to expand in King County, the 2025 program will include:

  • Sound Transit Link light rail stations in the City of Shoreline: Shoreline South/148th Station and Shoreline North/185th Station
  • Sound Transit Link light rail stations in the City of Redmond: Downtown Redmond Station, Marymoor Village Station, Redmond Technology Station and Overlake Village Station
  • Metro transit facilities in Shoreline: Aurora Village Transit Center
  • Metro RapidRide H stations along Delridge Way SW
  • Sound Transit Link light rail stations in the City of Seattle: all 16 Link stations in Seattle are included in the program, including Westlake and Symphony Stations.

Yes, the Transit GO ticket app and registration for GO Rewards is needed to access free transit tickets and earn additional points through surveys.

Take qualifying Lime and Bird trips to eligible Link light rail stations. You'll receive a push notification from Lime or Bird when you complete your trip if it is eligible to earn rewards points.

To receive rewards points, riders must park their scooters or bikes in the preferred parking spots*, shown in the Lime or Bird Apps, and may be signed and marked at the stop. Scooters and bikes parked outside of these certain areas will not qualify for the promotion/rewards.

*Preferred parking spots - Lime and Bird has marked areas where riders are encouraged to park, illustrated in the app with a blue “ P ”. Preferred Parking spots are often combined with "No Parking" spots to encourage safe parking in high traffic areas.
