Special Assault Unit - Early Plea Negotiators

Negotiations by email is preferred. Negotiations will continue throughout the pendency of a case. However, if defense requests discovery above what is expected during the early plea negotiations period (including victim/witness interviews, CPS/counseling records that are not in our possession, or lab testing that we would not do unless case goes to trial) then the case will be assigned to a trial deputy, and any outstanding early plea offer is withdrawn.
