Councilmember Steffanie Fain represents King County District 5, which includes all or parts of SeaTac, Des Moines, Normandy Park, Kent, Renton, and Tukwila. Her current term runs from November 25, 2025 through December 31, 2028.
As a longtime South King County resident, Councilmember Fain’s work on the Council is focused on practical, results-driven solutions—ensuring affordability, public safety, housing stability, and reliable access to essential services—through transparent, accountable government, and strong partnerships with cities and community organizations.

I am honored to serve as your King County Councilmember for District 5, representing SeaTac, Des Moines, Normandy Park, Kent, Renton, and Tukwila.
As a longtime South King County resident, my focus is practical and results-driven: affordability, public safety, housing stability, and access to reliable transit and essential services. King County provides critical regional services and my responsibility on the Council is to ensure these services are delivered effectively and with South King County’s needs front and center.
I believe effective government requires transparency, accountability, and strong partnerships with our cities, community organizations, and residents. Just as important, my office is committed to responsive constituent service and to helping residents navigate county services and resources.
