Capital project rosters (unadvertised contracts)
Architectural/Engineering Consultant Roster
Consultant roster RFPs are not advertised to the public, rather, approved Certified Firms are invited to propose on architectural, engineering, and professional services contracts that have an advertised value of $1,000,000 or less for all phases. The County defines a “Certified Firm” as a business that has been certified by King County Business Development and Contract Compliance (BDCC) as a Small Contractor or Supplier (SCS), or by the Washington State Office of Minority and Women’s Business Enterprises (OMWBE) as a Combination Business Enterprise (CBE), Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE), Minority Women’s Business Enterprise (MWBE), Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), or Small Business Enterprise (SBE).
To join the roster, you need to register in the E-Procurement Supplier Portal. If you do not sign up for the Consultant Roster as part of your initial registration, you must email procurement.web@kingcounty.gov to request an invitation to the roster.
Small Works Roster (Construction)
The Small Works Roster is used to find contractors and award contracts for construction projects with estimated cost of less than $350,000.
These projects are not formally advertised. Instead, bidders are invited using the statewide MRSC roster. To be invited to bid Roster solicitations, contractors must be registered on the MRSC Roster in the category of work being solicited.
Contractors also need to be registered with the E-Procurement Supplier Portal to submit a roster bid through the system.
