College internships & Veteran fellowships

Applications for Metro's college internship and veteran fellowships programs closed on April 10, 2026. If you are interested in receiving an email when applications open in 2027, please complete this form.

High school internships

Applications for the Youth Transit Summer Internship for ages 15-18 are now open! This program is an opportunity to learn about public transit and related topics like sustainability, urban planning, and local government. The program will involve field trips, skill-building workshops, planning and staffing peer-to-peer outreach projects, engagement with bus drivers, and social media content creation. Participants will be expected to work in groups to complete projects and create a final presentation.

The application will close at 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, May 6.
