Caller ID Spoofing Alert

We have had reports that individuals have been engaging in a caller ID spoofing scam, using Superior Court phone numbers. No one from Superior Court will call you and ask for your personal information or request money. If you should get one of these calls, please hang up and try calling the number displayed in the caller ID to confirm the call is coming from where it says. The FCC website (https://www.fcc.gov/spoofing) is a great resource to learn more about caller ID spoofing including how to file a complaint if you think you have become a victim of a spoofing scam.

LCMR 11. Bailiffs

King County Superior Court Local Court Management Rule (LCMR)

Each judge shall be limited to one bailiff and shall appoint and supervise his or her own bailiff. The bailiff shall serve at the pleasure of the judge.

In the absence of the judge, and unless assigned to other duties by the judge, the bailiff shall be supervised by the Chief Administrative Officer. The Chief Administrative Officer shall appoint and supervise as many additional general bailiffs as are needed.
