ID Theft and Financial Fraud Seminar Scheduled

Summary

The seminar will be taught by an FBI agent who is a regional expert in this field

Story

Metropolitan King County Councilmember Kathy Lambert is sponsoring a seminar specifically designed for seniors, but open to all, on the subjects of financial fraud and ID theft.

The seminar, co-sponsored by Snoqualmie Mayor Matt Larson and the Mt Si and Carnation Senior Centers, is being hosted by the Snoqualmie Valley Alliance Church:

 Thursday, September 21
7:00 – 8:30 p.m.
Snoqualmie Valley Alliance Church
36017 SE Fish Hatchery Road
Fall City, WA 98024

The seminar will be taught by an FBI agent who is a regional expert in this field.

“After talking with many seniors about these issues and becoming aware that information is lacking, I called an agent who works for the FBI and asked him to teach this informative seminar,” said Lambert. “Those who attend will go away with a better understanding of how to protect themselves from financial scams.”

Interested attendees can RSVP to ross.marzolf@kingcounty.gov.
