The Department of Adult and Juvenile Detention creates monthly and annual population reports. These reports cover adult and youth detention as well as alternatives to secure detention.

Open datasets
The Jail Bookings Open Data dataset contains information about adult bookings into King County jails within the last 12 months.
The dataset does not provide information about a court cause, case, or criminal filing. The information does not reflect the criminal history or criminal status of any adult currently or previously in custody.
It's important to note that updates, corrections, and additions to a person's booking information are possible since the original extraction date and time.

Types of statistical reports
Detention and Alternative Reports (DAR)
This is a statistical report of data on the adult secure detention populations at the following:
- Seattle Division (King County Correctional Facility)
- Kent Division (Maleng Regional Justice Center)
- Community Corrections Division (adult alternatives to secure detention)
- Juvenile Division (The Judge Patricia H. Clark Children and Family Justice Center)

A year-end summary of DAR.
Pre-Sentence Felons by Most Serious Offense
Report on the adult pre-sentence felon population. The report is in order of most serious offenses. The report provides monthly counts and three-month rolling averages for this population. It also provides measures of Average Daily Population (ADP) and Average Length of Stay (ALOS).
Demographic Breakdown
This two-page report sites data on the following:
- Average Daily Population (ADP) by housing location: secure detention, work release, electronic home detention
- Demographics: age, race, gender
- Bookings demographics: persons admitted to the facility during the month
- Unique Persons Incarcerated demographics: all persons in custody that month
