The Veterans, Seniors, and Human Services Levy (VSHSL) Implementation Plan is a strategy-by-strategy plan that details how the 2024-2029 VSHSL proceeds will be invested in King County’s communities to improve overall health and well-being, help communities thrive, and reduce disparities throughout King County.
The timeline below shares the procurement timeline estimates for the plan’s strategies and programs, and information about any community planning sessions that may be held to shape Requests for Proposals (RFPs) or other competitive procurement processes.

Increased Aid for Human Trafficking Prevention, Intervention, and Survivor Support Services During Summer 2026 - Fall 2026
Purpose: Through this investment, the King County Department of Community and Human Services, Adult Services Division, seeks to contract with qualified, community-rooted service provider(s) experienced in human trafficking prevention, intervention, outreach, and survivor-centered services to serve King County communities and geographic areas where the risk of human trafficking, commercial sexual exploitation, sexual assault, labor exploitation, domestic or sexual violence, or related harms may increase from summer 2026 through fall 2026 due to World Cup activity and seasonal tourism.
