Listening to the Plateau: protecting our creeks together

This page shares more information about a community-led effort on the Enumclaw Plateau to improve the health of Boise, Pussyfoot, and Second Creek.

Coming fall 2025!

We will be interviewing landowners along Boise, Pussyfoot, and Second Creek on the Enumclaw Plateau. Boise, Pussyfoot, and Second Creek have too much bacteria pollution. Higher bacteria pollution in the water creates safety and health problems for humans and animals. The information shared by landowners will help us, and the plateau community, keep the water in the local creeks healthy for people and animals.

We will be asking about your thoughts on planting trees and shrubs along the creek on your property. We would also like to hear any concerns you have about planting trees and shrubs along the creeks.

Upcoming Engagement

If you live along one of these three creeks, we want to hear your thoughts. Triangle Associates will reach out to you this fall for your feedback. Look for a postcard coming soon.

The postcard will include more details and an invitation to take part in an interview with our consultant. Interviews will focus on your interests and concerns about planting trees and shrubs along the creeks. Information from participants will be anonymous. We look forward to hearing from you.

Timeline

We will update this page with more information after the landowner interviews. Please check back for updates.
