Community-Based Parenting Supports, Home-Based Services, and Universal Developmental Screening & Promotion
Request for Proposals (RFP): #2025BSK819RFP
This RFP seeks partners who are reflective of and rooted in the communit(ies) they serve to offer strengths-based services that center relationships and trust to pregnant individuals, families, and children under the age of six. Partners that will implement one more of the following areas:
- Community-Based Parenting Supports (CBPS) provides peer-based, community-centered services and support to create an environment that enhances maternal-child health, encourage nurturing relationships, and increase caregiver knowledge of child development and social-emotional well-being.
- Home-Based Services (HBS) strategy provides ongoing, voluntary, relationship-based support in the places families live to support healthy births, positive parenting, health education, child development, safe home environments, and school readiness.
- Universal Developmental Screening & Promotion (UDSP) provides information, training, tools, a connection among providers to ensure all King County children receive culturally appropriate, high-quality developmental screening throughout early childhood.

Information sessions
Public Health – Seattle & King County conducted two information sessions on May 19 and June 4, 2025. These sessions were an opportunity for interested organizations to hear more about this RFP and to ask questions about the program and/or the Proposal process.
