Register now for our FOD Walk

Event takes place Saturday, August 15

Community members are invited to join airport employees and tenants for the King County International Airport-Boeing Field Foreign Object Debris (FOD) Walk. This cleanup event takes place on Saturday, August 15 from 7:30 to 10 a.m.

Meet at the Museum of Flight parking lot, 9404 E. Marginal Way S., to enjoy refreshments and chat with fellow aviation lovers before the walk. Attendees will be divided into two groups and bused to each end of the main runway to walk, pick up debris, and meet in the middle. Buses will leave the parking lot at 8:15 a.m., and latecomers cannot be accommodated. The runway will be closed from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. for the FOD Walk. Buses will return FOD walkers to the parking lot immediately following the cleanup.
