In response to Executive Constantine’s announcement Monday that he is lifting the COVID-19 vaccine mandate for King County employees effective immediately, King County Vice Chair Reagan Dunn issued the following statement:

“I’m grateful that since the COVID-19 vaccination requirement for King County employees was put in place over a year ago, the harshest forms of the virus have waned, and our community has shown great progress in our recovery — both physically and economically. I applaud the Executive’s decision to end the vaccine mandate and am eager to see our region get back to business as usual.”
