Protect your pets this July 4th

More pets go missing around the 4th of July than any other time of the year. While many areas of King County prohibit consumer fireworks, chances are that you and your pets will still hear firecrackers and other noisemakers in your neighborhood. Regional Animal Services (RASKC) has some tips to help you and your pets.

Stage 1 Burn Ban starts Saturday, June 29

In a Stage 1 Burn Ban you cannot use fires to burn yard debris or clear land in rural areas. Recreational fires and use of gas/propane appliances are still allowed. And remember, unincorporated King County prohibits the sale and use of consumer fireworks.
