Resource Fair

The resource fair is for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and delays, their families, caregivers, and service providers.

Resource Fair May 28, 2026

Thank you for joining us at our 2026 Resource Fair, a free community event welcoming people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and delays, their families, caregivers, service providers, teachers, employers, and other community members. Nearly 1,500 attendees connected with more than 130 valuable resources and services, and countless meaningful conversations, relationships, and community connections were formed along the way.

  1. Early Support for Infants and Toddlers: Career Pathways

  3. Benefit U: Know Your Benefits, Shape Your Future

  4. Rise Together, Advance Change: Advocacy Workshop

    • This workshop will help you understand how you can make a difference. Co-presenters include a self-advocate and a parent. We’ll talk about what advocacy means, explore simple ways to get involved, and review how a bill becomes a law. You’ll also learn practical tips for talking with decision-makers so you can confidently share your voice and support your community.

  8. Housing 101: Subsidized Housing & DDA Residential Options

    • Learn about maintaining your Section 8 voucher and DDECS subsidized apartments. DSHS/DDA will give information on types of living situations.
  9. Moving from Crisis to Confidence: A Complete Guide to Systems Navigation and Self-Empowerment for Families

    • This comprehensive session is designed to guide families caring for individuals with developmental disabilities from early childhood through adulthood. We will cover multi-system navigation across healthcare, education, and state services.
